ALTA Bank Donates Gift Packages for Children’s Smiles: Children from Sremčica and the Children’s Village “Dr Milorad Pavlović” enjoyed the Surprise and Fellowship
ALTA Bank, in collaboration with the Center for Inclusive Serbia, continues the “ALTA for Children’s Smiles” campaign with a strong message of love, inclusion, and solidarity, providing support to children placed in social care institutions across Serbia. As part of this campaign, visits to 14 institutions housing children of various ages were planned, with the goal of spending time together and donating New Year’s gift packages.
ALTA Bank distributed New Year’s gift packages to children in the Children’s Village “Dr Milorad Pavlović” in Sremska Kamenica and the Institution for Children and Youth “Sremčica.” The homes were visited by representatives of ALTA Group and ALTA Bank, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans, and Social Affairs, and the Center for Inclusive Serbia.
“It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to visit the Institution for Children and Youth ‘Sremčica,’ to share joy with them, and to offer our support. The time spent with them brought us happiness, and their smiles are the greatest reward and thanks. Our goal is for every child to have a chance for a happy and fulfilling childhood. We believe that initiatives like this are crucial for strengthening the sense of community and inclusion, and we are proud of the ‘ALTA for Children’s Smiles’ campaign. It is another step toward creating a society where children have the support they need for growth and success. We will continue working on projects that improve the quality of life. ALTA Group and ALTA Bank have been supporting young athletes, cultural events, and institutions for years. Our activities in 2025 will continue in line with ESG standards. This is our way of expressing gratitude and contributing to the communities where we operate,” said Zarije Korolija, on behalf of ALTA Group during the visit to Sremčica.
“We are extremely pleased that, in collaboration with the Center for Inclusive Serbia, we continue the ‘ALTA for Children’s Smiles’ campaign, which has a deeply humanitarian character and plays a significant role in the lives of children across Serbia. This campaign symbolizes our commitment to inclusion, solidarity, and providing love to children living in social care institutions. We are proud to donate not only New Year’s gift packages, but also smiles and fellowship. We thank all the homes and institutions that support this beautiful initiative and open their doors to us, especially the children who always remind us of the importance of unity and care for others,” said Milan Vićentić, a member of the Executive Board of ALTA Bank during the visit to the Children’s Village “Dr Milorad Pavlović” .
“It is a great pleasure that our little ones had the opportunity to host the representatives of the ‘ALTA for Children’s Smiles’ campaign. Our goal is for the children who grow up and leave the Children’s Village to simultaneously leave the social support and protection program. That is why inclusion is one of our core principles in working with them. We are grateful to ALTA Bank and the Center for Inclusive Serbia for their support and the holiday atmosphere they brought to our home,” said Mirko Jankelić, director of the “Children’s Village – Dr. Milorad Pavlović.”
“Being part of the ‘ALTA for Children’s Smiles’ campaign and bringing joy to children is a precious experience for the Center for Inclusive Serbia. The distribution of New Year’s gift packages is a small gesture of love and attention, but we believe it will bring warmth and happiness to the children, as every child deserves holidays filled with joy and smiles. We will strive to continue being part of their happiness because we believe that every smile makes the world a better place and that together we are creating an inclusive Serbia where every child will have the opportunity for a happy and fulfilling childhood,” said Miroslava Damjanović, president of the Board of the Center for Inclusive Serbia.
As part of the “ALTA for Children’s Smiles” campaign, gift packages have already been delivered to children in Bela Crkva, at the Vera Radivojević Home for Abandoned Children, as well as in Subotica, at the Kolevka Home for Children with Developmental Disabilities.
