ALTA Bank, Air Serbia, and Visa Launch a Strategic Partnership – A Card Offering Exclusive Benefits to Customers

ALTA Bank, the national airline Air Serbia, and Visa today formalized a strategic partnership by signing a Letter of Intentions. This document lays the foundation for the development of a unique financial product on the domestic market — a new co-branded Visa card that will enable customers to create a direct link between everyday spending and the national airline’s loyalty programme.

The Letter of Intentions was signed by Dr Una Sikimić, President of the Executive Board of ALTA Bank, Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia, and Bojan Pantović, Member of the Executive Board of ALTA Bank.

Focus on Customers and Premium User Experience

This partnership represents a natural continuation of ALTA Bank’s commitment to providing its customers with more than standard banking services. The new card will not only be a means of payment, but also an indispensable travel companion and a key to unlocking exclusive benefits. Our vision is to integrate banking products into customers’ everyday lifestyle habits, enabling them to earn rewards and benefits faster through regular purchases within the Air Serbia loyalty programme.

“At ALTA Bank, customers and their needs always come first. Every decision we make and every partnership we build is aimed at making the banking experience simpler and more efficient, through solutions that raise the quality of the service we provide. That is why we choose our partnerships carefully and develop them consistently, with a clear goal and measurable results. Our cooperation with Air Serbia and Visa enables us, through the synergy of different services, to offer solutions that are a natural part of everyday life and bring concrete value to customers. Our ambition is to stay one step ahead of their expectations through initiatives like this,” said Dr Una Sikimić.

Commenting on this strategic partnership, Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia, said: “Cooperation with ALTA Bank is part of our activities aimed at improving the user experience and bringing the Elevate loyalty programme closer to a wider passenger base. Our goal is for the programme to become part of users’ everyday lives, through benefits that go beyond travel itself. The new co-branded card will further simplify the collection of points and bring added value to everyday activities.”

Innovation and Customer Commitment as the Foundation of ALTA Bank

ALTA Bank continues to set high standards in the banking sector. As one of the first banks on the market to introduce SEPA payments, we continuously develop an ecosystem that saves customers time and provides security. This cooperation clearly confirms that ALTA Bank, through agility and fast decision-making, is defining the direction of development in the financial sector.

That is why, in addition to the announced co-branded card, ALTA Bank will soon introduce completely new service packages tailored to modern lifestyles. These packages will bring a range of additional benefits, while the already recognized availability through extended branch working hours enables customers to enjoy banking that fully adapts to their needs.

Continuous improvement of services and a strong focus on customers are accompanied by significant results. ALTA Bank is recording strong growth, confirmed by the title of the fastest-growing bank in Serbia for two consecutive years, as well as its entry among the top ten banks on the market.

ALTA Bank remains committed to creating premium service, as it believes that the trust customers place in the bank deserves the best solution on the market.

ALTA Bank is synonymous with reliability and a personalized approach to customers. Through continuous improvement of digital services and the expansion of its branch network with extended working hours, the bank confirms its leading position in providing premium service on the domestic and regional financial market.
