The campaign „ALTA for children’s smiles” successfully started – ALTA Bank in Bela Crkva delighted the little ones with New Year’s gifts
Within the campaign „ALTA for children’s smiles”, ALTA Bank, in cooperation with the Center for Inclusive Serbia, delighted the little ones with the New Year`s gifts in the „Vera Radivojevic” Children and Youth Home in Bela Crkva.
This nice initiative includes support for children and young people placed in social welfare institutions throughout Serbia, and today’s visit to Bela Crkva was the first in a series of planned activities. The campaign will continue in Subotica (Wednesday, December 11, 2024), Cacak, Belgrade, Senta and other cities during December and the following months. The campaign was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.
„We are glad that we had the opportunity to brighten up the festive atmosphere for the little ones in Bela Crkva and make them happy with New Year’s gifts. This campaign is just the beginning and we will continue to strive to ensure that all social welfare institutions throughout Serbia receive adequate support. ALTA Bank and ALTA Group support proudly true values and young talents in all areas, through socially responsible actions that are part of our strong business culture. From the beginning, we have been focused on contributing to the communities in which we operate, and socially responsible business is one of our postulates”, said Sanja Tanasijevic-Krstic, member of the Executive Board of ALTA Bank.
„I am pleased that we are initiating this campaign in South Banat, in the Bela Crkva municipality, which is the third development group. I owe gratitude to the company ALTA bank and the Center for Inclusive Serbia for the initiative and the initiation of this action and the recognition of the importance of supporting less developed municipalities. This is a municipality of wonderful people, who take care of each of their citizens, especially the users in the “Vera Radivojevic” Children and Youth Home. I would like to thank Tatjana Kokar, the Municipality President and Zoran Stanković, the Home Director, as well as Miroslava Damjanovic, the Board President of the Inclusive Serbia Center, for engagement and special empathy for children with disabilities. We will work together to create an inclusive Serbia and strive to realize the dreams of our fellow citizens together,” said Biljana Baroševic, assistant minister in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, War Veterans and Social Affairs.
Thanks to dedicated work, ALTA Group and ALTA Bank have achieved significant success, and support for sportsmen and cultural initiatives includes more than 20 sports clubs, including BC Crvena Zvezda, FC Vojvodina and Jiu-Jitsu Club „Naito”, as well as many others. The bank is an active supporter of regional projects, such as the Youth Sports Games, as well as cultural events, such as the Nishville Festival and the Kolarac’s endowment.
These activities are an active way of giving back to the community and investing in a better future. We expect that this campaign will contribute to better inclusion and raising awareness of the importance of social protection and assistance to children in socially vulnerable groups, thus continuing the tradition of solidarity and support through a comprehensive approach.
