Housing loans
It is provided by the decision that in the case of existing new housing loans with a variable interest rate, an interest rate higher than 5% cannot be applied, as well as in the case of new loans with a fixed interest rate, that rate cannot be contracted in a value higher than 5%. If the variable interest rate on the date of adjustment of this rate is higher than 5%, the Bank will apply an interest rate of 5% for the next repayment period, i.e. until the next adjustment of the nominal interest rate, about which the notification about the application of that rate and the new repayment plan will be delivered, that is, made available to clients. If, after the adjustment of the variable interest rate, the contracted interest rate is lower than 5%, for the next repayment period, that is, until the next adjustment of the nominal interest rate, the Bank will apply the contracted interest rate.
Cash, consumer loans for the purchase of motor vehicles
It is also provided by the decision that the limitation of interest rates for cash, consumer loans for the purchase of motor vehicles, so that the variable interest rate for those loans approved in dinars cannot be higher than 14.75%, i.e. than 7.05% for loans in dinars indexed in foreign currency and loans in foreign currency. If, after the adjustment of the variable interest rate, the contracted interest rate is lower than the above, for the next repayment period, that is, until the next adjustment of the nominal interest rate, the Bank will apply the contracted interest rate.
In addition, the limitation of effective interest rates for all credit products, which ALTA Bank has incorporated into its credit offer, is provided by the decision.
This Decision applies from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
