Owner of Alta Group with US congressman on future cooperation: in focus – cooperation between financial institutions and investments in renewable energy sources
The owner of ALTA Group and chairman of the Board of Directors of ALTA Bank, Dr Davor Macura, during his visit to Washington, participated in a series of strategic meetings with representatives of financial institutions, the media and high-ranking officials. During his stay in the United States, Mr. Macura also met with Congressman Neal Dunn, a Republican from Florida.
The conversation with Congressman Dunn focused on improvement opportunities and readiness to increase the cooperation scope between financial institutions and companies from the Balkans and the region in the USA and vice versa, as well as the possibility of joint investments in the field of renewable energy sources. Improvement of technological cooperation was also one of the important topics, as well as the role of banks in digitalization and implementation of technologies and new trends in the financial market, bearing in mind Dunn’s serious experience in the world of banking. Congressman Dunn invited Mr. Macura to visit Florida with his team.
“The meetings held are a continuation of our efforts to expand cooperation between our region and the United States. In the coming period, we expect the concretization of these agreements”. stated Mr. Macura after the conversation with Congressman Dunn.
